As the Indian economy rides a high trajectory, the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) services industry in India is faced with large and unique opportunity with substantial investments in the public and industrial infrastructure. The Indian Government has earmarked USD 1 trillion under the 12th five year plan in the infrastructure which will throw open a plethora of opportunities across various industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Petrochemicals; and Metals & Mining etc. for the EPC service providers.

Brownfield expansions, plant up-gradations, debottlenecking of plants and setting up large capacities to enjoy economies of scale is the way manufacturing industry is following in order to meet rapidly increasing product demand of the Indian economy.

On one hand the current trend offers many opportunities to the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) players and on the other, EPC players have to address many challenges while executing large scale projects. Right form the bidding process until the commissioning of the project EPC players have to address challenges at various stages to meet the tight timelines and maintain since entire risk is shifted from the client to the contractors. The need of the hour is to address the most relevant issues to bolster the growth of this high risk industry.

EPC South World Expo 2015 will be organised from December 10-12, 2015 at Chennai Trade Centre, CTC Complex, Mount Poonamallee Road Nandambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, INDIA concurrently with 27th CHEMTECH World Expo.

The 4 day exhibition and 2 day concurrent conference will enable the service providers to interact closely with the users from the sectors of Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Infrastructure, Chemicals & Petrochemicals and various allied industries to explore the business opportunities as well as network with the service providers from the fields of engineering, equipment manufacturing & construction.
