CHEMTECH will organise Nuclear Energy Expo 2018 and concurrent international conference during EnerTECH World Expo 2018.

India is stepping up its efforts in the field of developing nuclear energy and aims to increase the share of nuclear energy in the energy mix in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

From the current capacity of around 5780 MW, India envisages scaling up the nuclear energy generation capacity in phased manner to th 10,080 MW by end of 12 Five Year Plan and further increase to 600 – 700 GWe by year 2050 that would account for 25 per cent of country's power generation capacity from current 2 per cent.
