Honourable MoS, MoPNG to Attend Oil & Gas World Expo 2014
Mrs Panabaaka Lakshmi, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas & Textiles, Govt of India will grace the inauguration of Oil & Gas World Expo 2014 as the Guest of Honour. CHEMTECH will inaugurate the 6th edition of Oil & Gas World Expo (earlier OceanTEX World Expo) at 2:30 pm on February 10, 2014 at Bombay Exhibition Grounds, Goregaon (East), Mumbai.

Mr Sudhir Vasudeva, Chairman & Managing Director, ONGC Ltd & General Chairman of Oil & Gas World Expo 2014 and Mr A K Purwaha, Chairman & Managing Director, Engineers India Ltd, will attend the inauguration of the international exhibition and conference along with the other key dignitaries from the Indian and overseas E&P companies and allied services providers viz Oil Field Services, EPC and Automation etc are expected to attend the three-day international meet.

Parallel conferences on E&P and Refining envisage drawing attention to critical issues and knowledge sharing between the Indian and international delegates. As the Technical Chairman Mr P K Borthakur, Director Offshore ONGC Ltd, has designed the technical content for two day E&P conference on “Resurgence of the Oil & Gas in India – Prospects and Challenges”. Dr R K Malhotra, Director R&D, IOCL, and Chairman Central Advisory Board (CAB) Refining Conference 2014 along with the CAB members has curated the two-day conference programme. Sessions include Emerging technologies, Fuel Quality and Refining Petrochemical Synergy.

Around 200 exhibitors are expected to display state-of-the-art products for application across the upstream, hydrocarbon processing, transportation and storage, and downstream sectors of the hydrocarbon value chain. Concurrent events include EnerTECH World Expo 2014 and SMP World Expo 2014.
