Refining & Petrochemicals World Expo & Conference 2027 will be held during Oil, Gas & Power World Expo 2027, the four-day tradeshow & conference scheduled from 3-5 March 20247 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East), Mumbai. Co-located events include focused exhibitions and conferences for Specialty Chemicals, EPC, BioPharma, Health, Safety & Environment & Industry Automation & Control, Water, Surface Engineering & Corrosion Control along with Student Outreach Program. 

In last 25 years Indian refining sector has leapfrogged from 60 MMTPA to 250+ MMTPA capacity with almost 300% growth and the projections are to double the refining capacity to act as the global refining hub. While the refiners need to fulfil the pronouncement of our Honourable Prime Minister to reach Net Zero by 2070, we still have the primary onus to provide for the energy security for the nation on the growth trajectory which requires a balanced approach to meet the requirement in an environmentally benign way. As we stand at the cusp of energy transition, it is critical to instill the requisite flexibility in refining configurations, build intelligent & agile refineries of future with lower energy intensity index and carbon emission index, higher complexity and deeper petrochemicals penetration.
